Printing of your marketing items is important to reflect your brand and to assist your various business functions. Print quality can be described differently for any purpose including business cards, brochures, billboards, display systems, banners, car signage, reception signs and so on.

In our industry, roll up banner stands, display stands and portable displays can be used in so many different locations and scenarios.

With the influx of imported display equipment, supply has also included a range of poor quality printing techniques and films, that can leave a customer with a sour taste in their mouth and a failing product.

Our number one question from new clients is about the curling of graphic panels on a roll up banner stand.

The answer – all panels will curl to some degree (due to tension of being rolled up) but a good quality print on a good quality film will keep it to a minimum over the long term.

Another common question is about shadows or light visible through a graphic panel.

Many suppliers do not supply a block out film for display items. There is nothing worse than seeing shadows or light coming through the panel. All our roll up banner panels use a block out polyester film.

The most important point to make here is relating to your Brand. Does the quality of the printing represent your Brand effectively?

In the past 10 years, I have too often seen poorly made and printed display stands and display systems for great companies. Obviously budget was a criteria for purchase, but it should not be the only one. A poorly displayed brand can give the wrong impression to customers and potential customers. It can also cost more in the long run by replacing displays more regualarly than is needed to.
